"Which school do I want to attend? I'm not sure!"

Choose a school based on your careful research. After all, you'll be spending a lot of time, and money, earning your degree! This is your new beginning! Call the school, or better yet, visit the campus and talk to students and graduates of that institution. Ask the admissions counselor questions such as:
- How long does it take to get a certificate or degree at this school?
- What is the placement of recent graduates in your chosen program of study?
- How many students finish their degree at this school? Drop out?
- Does this school offer the program of study I'm interested in?
- What is the cost of tuition and are there any other fees I need to be aware of?
- What forms of financial aid are available?
- Is housing available?
- Is the school located in an environment suitable to my needs? (Big city, small town, large enrollment, religious affiliation, etc.)
...and finally-deadline dates are VERY IMPORTANT! Financial aid priority dates and admission confirmation (notifying the school that I will or will not be attending) should be carefully noted.
